RU 486

       
RU 486, also called a “medication” or “chemical” abortion is a dose of anti-hormones which signals the uterus to deny attachment (implantation) of the new growing human being. The woman is first given the RU 486 pill, also known as mifepristone or “Mifeprex,” and then a few days later, instructed to take a second drug, misoprostol, which causes the infant to be expelled.
