DES MOINES—April 2, 2008— Wesley J. Smith is coming to Iowa April 23, 24 and 25. He will be speaking at Des Moines University, Iowa State University and The University of Iowa. His topic will be: Brave New Iowa: Stem Cells, Cloning and The Sanctity of Human Life.Iowa Right to Life is sponsoring Wesley's visit and partnering with Des Moines University Students For Life, Iowa State University Students for Life, The John Paul II Stem Cell Research Institute, and The University of Iowa Students for Life.
After the repeal of our Human Cloning Ban by the 2007 Legislature, Iowa is now looking at cloning humans with taxpayer funding. Come hear Wesley Smith talk on the issue of human cloning, stem cell research and the impact the political arena has had on science.
